Chateau Latour 2004
Nose very young, closed and not expressive, palate quite firm, very fine grained young tannins, juicy fruit to acid balance, supple and quite charming although youthful and still finding harmony. Needs time.

Nose closed and tight, needs some air, cracked black pepper quite subtle, fig and prune aromas, quite shy wine, soft fruits on palate. Not a blockbuster, very Rhone like, lots of fruitcake, does lack some length.
Ronan is highly respected and at the very top of his profession as a Master Sommelier and wine buyer. He has huge knowledge that he both passes on to his own team and enthusiastically shares with wine enthusiasts generally.
